Pizza came out pretty good but I didn’t think it was anything super special compared to my metal tray. Then one day I went to pick it up to make more pizza, the stone broke in half and shattered on the floor. I had no idea what happened and was dumbfounded. Perhaps I didn’t treat it right? Great stone. Poor quality control and poor customer service. First let me say this is a fantastic pizza stone. I own this one and their rectangular one. They both make great pizza and work wonderfully on the grill as well. I have also bought 2 of the round ones as gifts for friends.The reason I am giving it one star is that the handle on mine broke. Best Pizza Stone. Ever. When we were shopping for a Pizza Stone, we never thought we would find something this nice, and $10-$20 cheaper than our local kitchen goods store.One of the things I really like about this Pizza Stone is that it is glazed on one side. Also, it is Top Rack Dishwasher-Safe, which is REALLY nice since our previous stone was not, and did seem to collect stains and discolorations.
