Excellent peel for the home cook Really like this peel. I shape my pizza on the side with the tapered edge (dusted with plenty of semolina), slide it onto my preheated cast iron pizza pan, and then I remove the cooked pie using the un-tapered side of the peel. I do this because I like to slice the pie on the peel and do not want to damage the side on which I form the pizza. Though the material is pretty tough, any small scratches on the dough-shaping surface would likely cause more friction and sticking, which is the last…

Great peel, it says 23” but it’s actually 21.5” These are great pizza peels!It is easy to make pizza on these and with a little semolina under the dough, they slide right off and onto our pizza stone. It’s also great for getting pizza off the grill, too. We also cutting pizzas right on the peel. We now have 2 so we can rotate between cooking and serving.The only reason I deducted a star is because the size says 23” long as compared to the others which say 21.5”. This one is in fact 21.5”. Best pizza Peel ever I was surprised when I found this pizza Peel, I always thought they had to be metallic, how wrong I was. This pizza Peel is AWESOME and I love it, is a must have if you bake on a Pizza stone. Also the material feels durable and lightweight.
