Decent sturdiness and size for the price. A few shortcomings in the fit and finish of the details. I like the sturdy gauge weight of the peel with a long enough handle that I can work with by my 700+ degree temperatures without needing to wear oven mitts, like I did with my prior peel.Downsides: 1) It comes with a scratch-proofing blue plastic film on the top of the peel that the mount is bolted directly atop. For me, the trick was to use parchment paper I purchased this over a year ago and haven’t really mastered the prep to make it work and time it all and had mostly unfavorable results than I wanted with the crust. I was about to give up using it but really loved how the pizza stone cooks it over the other method of using a perforated pan and spraying a generous amount of oil so it won’t stick. BUYER BEWARE.. BUYER BEWARE. Really chewed up with at least 1/2 dozen sharp nicks all along outer edge. The pictures don’t do it justice. . they were really sharp. . I took the pics prior to trying to fix it….I filed them.. its a little better but it still scratched the hell out of my brand new glazed pizza stone.. emailed them.. but no response..just ignored me
