Is the firebox cover made to take the heat ? I hope I didn’t spend $600 for a bad product . I just lit mine for the first time and it did not take but two hours for a few welds in the fire box cover to let go and allow the insulated cover seem to open up. I have confidence that they will make it right. The unit looks awesome . I will wright again to let all know if they send new cover and if it can take the heat. I will give it a three star for now but it is definitely a 5 star if they make it right. They did make it right great customer…

So far we love this pizza oven So for those of you, who enjoy a great pizza that you make at home, look no further than Uuni. We purchased this oven with the wood pellet conversion kit and could not be happier. The oven fires up to full heat after about 20 minutes of warm up (buy a good quality hand torch to ignite the pellets). Then it comes down to your skills with the pizza itself. You will need two good pizza paddles and cornmeal to keep the pizzas sliding on and off in the oven. Trust me; do not expect an amazing…

Be careful, addiction ahead! Although we struggled a bit to get the feeling correct (you can buy the gas burner at their website), we’ve gotten a TON of use out of the “Ooni” or Unni pizza oven. If you’re new to pizza stones, it’s a medium sized deck and at 16″ makes a 10 or 12″ pizza very easily. I’ve learned that turning on the gas 30 minutes before making the pizza creates a pizza in about 70 seconds. I normally spit it 2-4 times to avoid burning. It’s small enough to move easily which means it’s not as consistent…
