How to Use G.a ?

It is important to know that pizza stone without preheating will not cook evenly. Please preheat the stone before placing food on it.

1. Place the pizza stone itself in middle of or and pre-heat it at 500° F (260° C) for about 1 hour.
2. Sprinkle flour or cornmeal on top of the stone to create a non-stick surface.
3. Return both stone and pizza to the grill or oven, close the grill lid and cook the pizza for 10 to 12 minutes.
4. Check in halfway to ensure the pizza is not overheated.
5. Once the crust is brown, remove the pizza from stone. Enjoy at once.

How to Clean a Pizza Stone ?

1. Let the stone completely cool off before washing.
2. Never use soap or detergent on a stone because the porous of the stone will absorb cleaning liquids and leave a soapy aftertaste.
3. Hand wash with warm water. Not dishwasher .
4. Use a brush or nylon pad to remove excess food.
5. Air dry the stone completely after cleaning.

Note:

1.A well-used pizza stone typically has many dark, discolored areas, which is normal and no need to clean. It means your pizza stone become naturally seasoned and gets better to use.

Can finally use my camper oven! Bought this as a heat distribution device for my camper oven. Most RV owners I’ve talked to use their oven only to store stuff because anything you try to bake simply gets burnt. Used this twice now and seems to be the magic bullet to provide a more even distribution of heat. Stone arrived intact in a custom box with a foam liner. I’ll be using the box to store the stone when traveling. Very happy with my purchase.

Stoneware = Even Heating/Cooking Great stones and fit great together to fill up most of the cooking are on my grill. I use them for grilling pizzas. Since they are stone do not expect them to look like they did when you first used them. They will retain cooking stains (called seasoning of the stone) but the surface food will come off. Anyone who is familiar with stoneware knows that they will look dirty over a time of years because of the material and the seasoning results. The more it’s used it will become a better cooking…

As described I bought this for aesthetics purpose to use on my food blog. I have only used for pizza so far and it worked well. It is fairly heavy and well-made so I should get many years of use out of it if I don’t drop it. Nice size too, Perfect for medium size pizza. I don’t see too much difference from the results I got from my other baking items though. It does stains the pizza stone but that doesn’t bother me. Overall happy with my first pizza stone and the look of it.
