Waited a long time for this! Anyone who has used a barbeque grill to make pizza knows the challenge is getting the cheese to melt and cook without burning the bottom of the pizza. Grill burners are on the bottom and most grills have large areas of air above the grates, not to mention several vents which make it nearly impossible to hold the necessary heat in to cook the top of the pizza before burning the bottom completely. Good product for pizza This is a good product. I use it for various styles of pizza. I converted into a wood fire oven on my napoleon grill. I just raised it with some brick and added wood chunks and got the temps around 900 degrees. Made some good Neopolitain style pizzas. It really works well with pizza that your trying to Cook between 550-725. These are the temps I can get on my grill with just the gas burners. Takes about 20 minutes to get the stone and the hood around 700.
