Perfect complement to my wooden peel This peel works perfectly and don’t be mistaken, you need BOTH a wooden and an aluminum peel. Knob Doesn’t Work With Bolt The aluminum peel is a good size and is sturdy. The thin profile works well to slide under the pizza. The handle is strong and stout, but the back half is almost too wide. I have fairly large hands and it works for me, but my wife needs to use the narrower front portion of the handle. We both find it works best to use both hands for added stability. Great pizza peel This pizza peel works exactly how you’d think it would. I love that the handle comes off so you can wash the metal part since that’s the only part that gets dirty. The metal surface does scratch fairly easily (a frozen piece of pepperoni scratched mine) but I didn’t expect it look pristine forever. The wooden handle is nice and has a good sturdy feel and the hardware is hefty. I would recommend this peel if you’re on the market for one.
