The Casita Grill is our largest outdoor fireplace. It has a built in door to provide easy grill/oven access. The FedEx guy wheeled the two boxes right to my patio. I cut the box off the firebox so that I wouldn’t have to lift it out. I then slid it on the base. A chiminea of beauty and versatility I LOVE this chiminea! It handles 15″ logs with ease, puts out a good deal of heat, and makes terrific pizza and focaccia.Lighting it is pretty simple as long as you use dry kindling. The firebox and oven are all cast iron, which really absorb and radiate the heat. The wood and cooking grates are also cast iron.The base stand is steel, painted to match the chiminea. Love love love Absolutely love this new addition to the back yard. Guests and neighbors have also been raving about it. Super unique and versatile. Don’t let the heavy weight of it deter you from buying, I like the weight because living waterfront I think someone is less likely to try to steal it, the delivery guys were awesome and even set it up in the backyard.
